Brickwork

With a strong foundation in place, the team can now begin assembling the brickwork. This is a phase with lots of activity on the site. For the first time, the project will rise from ground level. Now that the important envelope structure is complete, the team can begin to raise the scaffold, and the steel frame system which will be used during the brickwork. Before the team can begin laying the bricks and mortar, there are a few more steps to take.

In this form of construction, the next step is the installation of a steel frame. This frame will allow the team to begin the brickwork and make the building weatherproof.
Raising the scaffold and ground-floor brickwork

At this stage, the team will build from the ground floor to the first floor, flooring and joists.
Raising the scaffold and first-floor brickwork
Start March 2023Expected to end May 2023
At this stage, the team will build from the first floor to the second, flooring and joists.

At this stage the team will install the external doors. With the Brickwork and flooring complete, the next step is the roof work.
