FAQs

Yes.  The new homes are larger than existing homes, as well as a different shape. In many cases the new gardens will be smaller, as the existing rear gardens are very long. 
New rents will be calculated the same way as your existing rent, reflecting the type and size of the new home. Service charges will increase to reflect the cost of services like cleaning and maintenance. The costs of these services are regularly reviewed to ensure value for money. Tenants will be made aware of rent and service charge levels before they agree to any move.
We will contact you approximately 12-18 months before your property is due to be demolished to discuss your housing need.
We will try to give you as much notice as possible, but in practice things can happen very quickly once your new home becomes ready to move into. You can expect to have at least four week’s notice before you have to move out.  It is important that you are ready to move so that your rehousing is not delayed.
If you have been informed your new home is in the next phase to be built, your Regeneration Manager will send you the floor plans including the dimensions of your new home.  Alternatively you can view plans of your allocated plot on the Ravensbury Live site.
